K.K.Shijimichan Honpo Since our founding in 1998, our long-selling “Yamato Shijimi Pure Extract KANSUKE®” series has been one of our flagship health supplements. We also sell instant shijimi and scallop soups that can be enjoyed simply by adding hot water, available throughout Japan. K.K.Fukushima Shoten Founded in 1960, the company has a division that procures and sells clams, another division that wholesales commercial frozen food products to hotels and restaurants within the prefecture, and a factory that extracts and retorts clam extract supplied to Shijimichan Honpo. K.K.Hokuyu Foods Founded in 1984, the company is renowned for its technology in gelling and solidifying liquids, producing products such as artificial caviar and jelly-like granules that can be freely flavored. Today, leveraging this technology, the company also produces popular jelly products made with local apple juice. It also manufactures processed foods sold by Shijimichan Honpo.
